Home Support Workers with Maximum Home Support Services undergo various security and medical screenings before hire, as outlined in the Provincial Home Support Program Operational Standards.   

Our Home Support Workers are trained, proficient and experienced in providing the listed services to clients of all ages and abilities.

Personal Care
  • Personal hygiene (bathing, dressing and/or toileting)
  • Transferring in and out of bed/chair
  • Assistance with ambulation
  • Assistance with feeding


Household Management
  • Light housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Shopping and other assistance


  • Provision of short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home
  • Helps support and maintain the primary care giving relationship
  • Provide a positive experience for the person receiving care and a break for family caregiver
  • Accompaniment to/during recreational activities, appointments, etc.


Behavioral Support
  • Offered through a behavioral support plan, as approved by Intervention Services of Western Health
